While preparing a message or a Bible study, we frequently refer to characters in the Bible. Generally, the characters that come to mind are well-known names like Abraham, David, Joseph, Paul, and John.Fact is, the Bible covers dozens of little-known men and women who showed extraordinary levels of character, courage, and discipline. Unfortunately, we either don't remember them or tend not to attach much significance.
For a TV series titled Big Messages from Small People, I researched several little-known Bible characters such as Jethro. This research was not only an opportunity to reach tens of thousands in India with life lessons from such characters, it also turned out to be an enriching personal experience.
